The International Nautical Organisation (INO) Yachtmaster Coastal Certificate is a recreational certificate of competency for the command of sailing and/or power vessels up to 24 meters (78 ft) in length, operating up to 60 nautical miles (NM) offshore. This comprehensive live-aboard course spans 14 days, including 7 days of theory and practical instruction followed by 7 days of hands-on training and assessment on the water. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills required to navigate coastal waters confidently, both under sail and under motor power. This course includes a practical on-water examination as part of the training, ensuring that participants demonstrate their competence in various aspects of coastal sailing and motor yacht handling.
